Sgt. R.G.Henderson House Room & Board for Veterans: R.G. Henderson House is a non-profit organization for Veterans has been in  existence since 2006, which houses many homeless veterans in need of housing. We offer a individualized, Personal Life Coaching Program to each veteran that lives at R.G. Henderson.

R.G. Henderson House is named after Retired Sgt. Raymond G. Henderson former JROTC instructor of Mission High School in San Francisco CA.  His former student Renee Barrow holding the position of Battalion Commander, Brigade Staff S-3 of San Francisco Girls Drill Team Commander, & Miss JROTC.  Renee graduated in June 1980 with hopes to go to the Military, unfortunately because she was a teen age mom she unable to enlist.

Nick Canalita,  F-67'

Vacaville Bobby Sox Softball:  Mayor David A. Fleming of Vacaville California congratulates Nick Canalita for his  grassroots effort to introduce fast-pitch softball to Vacaville’s youth in 1983, beginning with 130 players on ten Bobby Sox Softball teams.  Today the number of participants has grown to 450 players on 37 teams, representing four divisions. Puppy Raiser for the Guide Dog for the Blind: Cathi Alerre Java volunteers as Puppy Raiser for the Guide Dog for the Blind (GDB) helping to raise puppies from 8 wks -18 month. Teaching puppies the basic house training, obedience & socializing during the puppy stage. The puppy stays until they are mature pups & ready for the "formal guide work training".   Taking the puppies to work, malls, grocery store, restaurants just about everywhere I go is part of the socializing. Besides riding in a car it's important to expose them to bus, trains & Bart & other forms of transportation.

Suzanne San Miguel - Sp-69'

Volunteered at San Francisco: SPCA: Prepared Shelter animals for adoption by enhancing human-canine bonding.  I trained dogs to Socialize and showed compassion to all animals.  I assisted in public training classes for canines so they are suitable for adoption. I reported health or behavior abnormalities to the supervisor. Prepared adequate food and water for canines
Volunteer at Daly City Public Services:  I maintained San Mateo’s county Smart and Cal-win systems. Presented short orientation to clients regarding Health Insurance, Medi-Cal, Children’s & Families, and unemployment benefits, and assist clients with job searches.

Volunteered for the Hawaiian Humane Society :Performed dog training for 6 months then went into the Fundraising Dept. and helped with clerical duties there.  Each volunteer session was once a week. Volunteered for 1 yr.
Volunteer coordinator at a health food co-op called, Kokua Market : Since I have a Human Resource background, this was right up my alley. In helping with produce, bulk dept., computer work, and general in-store upkeep (facing product, cleaning, assisting customers), yard work etc. I coordinate the work schedules of everyone and give orientation to new volunteers, communicate events.
Finance Management at local Church:  Pay monthly invoices,  provide monthly reports to our Data Entry person and prepares annual IRS Tax forms for the Church. (posted 02/16/11)

Bob Chancy - Sp 66'

Volunteered: Director of local ABATE  of Iowa, Raise money for Muscular Dystrophy: Bob has been involved, for over 30 years, in various causes here in Davenport, IA.  Most are motorcycle club orientation and have been the spearhead for all I will list.

Bob was a Director of the local ABATE of Iowa Chapter, (Nationwide Motorcycle Rights organization), and did Motorcycle Events to raise money for The Muscular Dystrophy Association.  In 1985, Bob was the Founder of The Ranch Riders Motorcycle Brotherhood in Davenport, IA. 

The Ranch Riders have been doing the mentioned Easter Egg Hunt for 24 years and have raised tens of thousands of dollars for the local Children's Therapy Center of the Quad Cities (formerly Easter Seals).

In 2009, we did an Honor Flight benefit to send WWII veterans to Washington, DC to tour the WWII Memorial.  It costs $550.00 per vet to send them there for the one day event and we raised over $3600.00 in one night to send over six of them to Washington. Please visit the site below:

Henry Hong - 66'
Henry was the Director of the local Hog Chapter, the Golden Gate Chapter, Foghogs of San Francisco.  And a life member of the National Hog Association. 

He also was on the ‘ Bridge To A Cure Ride’ Committee, and various event rides to raise money for The Muscular Dystrophy Association.  Each year, he would get together a group of Hog members to go to the MDA Camp and they will spend the day with the children.   Also, Henry was on the San Francisco Police Activities League fundraiser committee. They did a ride around the Bay Area and raised over $8,000 in the one day event.  The proceeds benefited The San Francisco Police Activities League. 

Henry now rides with the Patriot Guard Rider.  Whose mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family.  Each mission the Patriot Guard Riders will undertake has two basic objectives:

> Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.
> Shield the mourning family and their friends from interruptions created by any protestor (posted 04/05/11)

Community Health Outreach Worker at MHS - Ray Sotto

Hans Koch - MHS Math Teacher

Math Teacher Hans Koch volunteers his time once the final school bell rings, to the Mission High School Bicycle Club.  Hans instructs students how to repair, maintain and ride with safety. Hans also takes his MHS Bicycle Club members on rides.

Joe teaches the Mission High School Varsity Football team the fine art of working as a team on the grid iron, and what hard work and dedication can achieve.  As a result the the Mission Bears varsity football team has reached the San Francisco AAA playoff's the last two years, thanks to dedicated coaches like Joe.

I have been volunteering since 2008.. I drive a truck delivering food to needy families.. I drive for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints Bishops Store House in Concord..

I deliver to San Rafael, Petaluma. Rhonart Park, Santa Rosa, Fairfeild, Vacaville, Napa, Vallejo & Benicia..I really enjoy being able to help people that are in need.
